The Amazon burning makes Brazil a top greenhouse gas polluter. It only falls behind the US and China. Those of you who've watched An Inconvinient Truth probably know many alternative ways to reduce your greenhouse gas emission, as well as other methods of saving the environment. Did you know that turning the tap off when brushing your teeth saves up to 5 litres of water a minute? Using public transportation instead of driving a Hummer prevents millions of tons of carbon dioxide from being launched into the atmosphere.

That's right. So do what you can as you feel inspired to act. Mother Earth smiles back at you.
